About Dr. Eglinton

Dr. Patrice Dason Eglinton grew up outside of Raleigh, NC in Knightdale. She’s excited to be part of the Hampstead community, relocating to Wilmington in June 2016.

Dr. Eglinton began her formal education at North Carolina State University in Raleigh earning a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences and Nutrition Science in 2010. She was a part of the varsity swim team throughout her 4 years at NCSU. Her education continued at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where she earned the distinction of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington NC as the chief resident in 2019.

She enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Her special interests include women’s health and pediatrics. She also enjoys osteopathic manipulation to help with acute and chronic illnesses.

When away from the office, Dr. Eglinton enjoys yoga and paddle boarding. She currently resides in Wilmington, NC with her husband, Drew and Golden Retriever, Oskar.
